Supplies delivered in Dover, with the Secretary of Education

SkillSphere handed 45 packed supply kits to students at the Middle School of Innovation and the Middle School of Excellence on the Dover Middle School campus. Delaware Secretary of Education Cindy Marten joined the team at the table, with the Capital School District superintendent and other Delaware education leaders. The kits came from a statewide drive that collected more than $4,000 in supplies for 13 Title I schools.

WBOC-TV, WDEL, and WMDT 47abc covered the day, and Bay to Bay News ran a feature on the drive.

2025 to 2026 Impact Report

The year in numbers: $2,500+ raised, $4,000+ in school supplies, 200+ students reached, 13 Title I schools, six programs, twelve student leaders, and six news features. The report also lays out the BPA curriculum and the plan for Pennsylvania.

Aug 2026 Supply drive

45 kits handed out in Dover, 13 schools reached

The in-person delivery at the Dover Middle School campus is the story above. Across the drive, kits went to students at 13 Title I schools through the Delaware Regional Dream Center. WBOC-TV covered the day on August 24 and WMDT 47abc on August 25.

Everything collected through June went to the Delaware Regional Dream Center, which coordinates distribution to Title I schools across Delaware.

Statewide collection drive

Collection boxes at partner businesses, public libraries, and schools across Delaware and Pennsylvania, including Garnet Valley High School, plus a GoFundMe that raised $420 toward bulk purchases. More than $500 was raised for the drive in all.

Our first national competition, for grades 6 to 8. Students made a 30 to 60 second promotional video for a product, service, or idea, alone or in a team, with a $175 prize pool.

Our first workshop, run over Zoom. Students learned ethos, logos, and pathos, then designed product flyers in Canva and pitched them to the group.

SkillSphere Foundation founded

Started by Delaware students Devkrishna Manappattu, Ridhun Gujja, and Yashas Chittimalla to bring free business and technology education to students whose schools cannot fund it.
