SkillSphere is a student-founded nonprofit equipping the next generation with leadership, communication, and career-ready skills through peer-led workshops and structured curriculum — completely free for every student.
SkillSphere is a student-founded nonprofit dedicated to equipping young people with the practical, career-ready skills that traditional education often overlooks. We focus on leadership, public speaking, professional communication, and 21st-century skills that actually matter in life and careers.
Founded and run by students, we understand the gap between what's taught in classrooms and what the real world demands. Our peer-led workshops, structured curriculum, and hands-on initiatives bridge that gap — preparing the next generation to lead with confidence, compete with purpose, and serve their communities.
Hands-on workshops and skill development experiences designed by students who understand what the real world actually requires.
STEM
Hands-on engineering challenges using LEGO SPIKE robotics kits. Students design, build, and program real robots while developing teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills that translate far beyond the workshop.

Learn MoreSkillSphere doesn't stop at skill-building. We show up for our community in real, tangible ways.
A biannual initiative collecting and distributing essential school supplies to students in under-resourced communities across New Castle County, Delaware — through a network of school, business, and community partners.
One-day community fundraiser events where local restaurant partners donate a percentage of sales to support our programs and supply drives. A win for the community and for students.
SkillSphere is built to grow. We're actively expanding our chapter model so students at any school can bring our programs, curriculum, and community to their own campus.
We collaborate with schools, businesses, faith organizations, and community centers to amplify our reach and create more opportunities for students across Delaware and beyond.
Right now we're running our first biannual school supply drive across New Castle County, Delaware. The goal is simple — collect essential school supplies and get them into the hands of students who need them most.
We're doing this through donation boxes at local businesses and schools, restaurant fundraiser nights, and direct monetary donations that let us purchase supplies in bulk. Everything we collect goes directly to Title I schools in the Red Clay and Christina school districts.
Two workshops in and we're already seeing what's possible when students teach students.
In Person
Middle school students came together for a hands-on robotics session at Code Ninjas. Using LEGO SPIKE robotics kits, participants built and programmed fully functional driving platforms — and honestly made some really impressive robots along the way.
Online
Our first online workshop dove deep into the fundamentals of marketing — ethos, logos, pathos, persuasion techniques, audience targeting, and real brand strategy. Students topped it off by designing their own product flyers in Canva.
SkillSphere is designed from the ground up to scale. We're actively expanding our chapter model so that students at any school — anywhere — can bring our programs, curriculum, and community to their campus.
A chapter gives your school access to our full curriculum, workshop framework, and national network while you lead it your way.

Hear from students, participants, and community members who have been part of the SkillSphere journey.
"The robotics workshop was unlike anything I'd done in school. We actually built a real working robot from scratch. I had no idea I'd enjoy engineering this much — now I want to pursue it."
"The marketing workshop changed how I think about communication. Learning ethos, logos, and pathos and then actually applying it to a real Canva project — that's the kind of learning that sticks."
"SkillSphere is doing something genuinely different. It's students teaching students — and it works. The energy, the curriculum, the passion behind it is real and it shows."
"Being part of the founding team has been one of the most formative experiences of my life. The leadership skills I'm building here are more valuable than anything I've learned in a classroom."
"The supply drive is exactly the kind of initiative I want to support. It's not just talking about community impact — these students are actually doing it, and doing it well."
Whether you're a student looking to learn, a volunteer wanting to make a difference, or an organization seeking to partner — we'd love to connect.
