Student-Led Impact
By students, for students

Started by Students. Built for Everyone.

SkillSphere started from a simple observation: the skills that matter most in life — leadership, communication, professional presence — are rarely taught in school. Two students, Ridhun and Dev, decided to change that by building a nonprofit run entirely by students, for students.

Since then, SkillSphere has grown to a team of 16, run multiple workshops across STEM, marketing, and leadership, launched a statewide school supply drive across Delaware, and begun building a chapter model so students at any school can bring this experience to their own community.

How We Got Here

From an idea to a movement — here's how SkillSphere has grown.

The Beginning
Ridhun and Nirmal identify a gap
Two students realize that the skills which matter most — leadership, communication, professional readiness — aren't being taught in classrooms. They decide to build something to fix that.
Building the Team
16 members across 4 teams
SkillSphere grows to a full leadership team: Technical, Fundraising, Media & Marketing, and Outreach. Roles are defined. Structure forms. The org becomes real.
First Workshops
Marketing Foundations + Code Ninjas Robotics
Two workshops launched — one virtual, one in-person. Students learned marketing through Canva projects and built real driving robots with LEGO SPIKE kits at Code Ninjas. Both exceeded expectations.
Community Impact
Statewide School Supply Drive launches
SkillSphere launches a biannual school supply drive across Delaware — collecting and distributing supplies to Title I schools through business, school, and community partnerships.
What's Next
Chapter expansion & beyond
SkillSphere is actively building its chapter model so students at any school can launch their own chapter, access the full curriculum, and bring real skill-building to their campus.

Rooted in Delaware. Built for Everywhere.

SkillSphere is currently based in Delaware. Our workshops, supply drive, and partnerships are all rooted here — in real schools, real businesses, and real communities.

But from the start, we've been building with scale in mind. Our curriculum, workshop framework, and chapter model are all designed to travel. A student at any school, in any state, should be able to start a SkillSphere chapter and run with it.

Beyond the Workshop

SkillSphere doesn't stop at skill-building. We show up for our community in real, tangible ways.

School Supply Drive

A biannual initiative collecting and distributing essential school supplies to students in under-resourced communities across Delaware — through a network of school, business, and community partners.

Restaurant Fundraisers

One-day community fundraiser events where local restaurant partners donate a percentage of sales to support our programs and supply drives. A win for the community and for students.

Chapter Expansion

SkillSphere is built to grow. We're actively expanding our chapter model so students at any school can bring our programs, curriculum, and community to their own campus.

Community Partnerships

We collaborate with schools, businesses, faith organizations, and community centers to amplify our reach and create more opportunities for students across Delaware and beyond.

School Supply Drive 2025

Right now we're running our first biannual school supply drive across the state of Delaware. The goal is simple — collect essential school supplies and get them into the hands of students who need them most.

We're doing this through donation boxes at local businesses and schools, restaurant fundraiser nights, and direct monetary donations that let us purchase supplies in bulk. Everything we collect goes directly to Title I schools across Delaware.

What We've Done So Far

Two workshops and a statewide supply drive in — and we're already seeing what's possible when students teach students and show up for their community.
